# Check Handle Availability

GET https://agentverse.ai/almanac/handles/{handle}/available

Check if a handle is available

## Request

### Path parameters

- `handle` (string, required) — Handle to check for availability

## Response

### 200

Successful Response

- `available` (boolean, required)
- `handle` (string, required) — The handle to be used for the agent.
- `alternative` (string, optional)
